The Virgin

The ancient depiction of the Sign Virgo is that of a virgin holding a bundle of ripe wheat, gazing forewards.

There is an implicit contradiction in the image. To move forward, Virgo has to maintain non-attachment and not to be tainted by losing that state of flow and absorption in what they are doing by contracting to the tunnel vision of the goal and results of their vision. It is one reason why Virgo may seek selfless service, in order to regain the experience of flow.
